This job opening has a starting salary of $39,907 which increases after six months to $41,815. All county benefits apply. A Paralegal for the Prosecutor’s Office is responsible for preparing legal documents and correspondence, filing legal documents, providing clerical and organizational assistance, coordinating meetings and depositions, performing research as directed, reviewing evidence, organizing case files, and assisting with trial preparation.

The Vanderburgh County Prosecutor’s Office is looking for a Deputy Prosecutor to join their team for a thrilling and rewarding career prosecuting criminals. The chosen candidate will work in collaboration with other Deputy Prosecutors, state and federal law enforcement agencies, and victim advocates to successfully resolve criminal cases in a variety of areas. Salary is commensurate with experience. A new attorney begins at $76,339 (after the six-month probationary period) and the salary offered increases considerably based on years of experience. The Vanderburgh County Public Defender Agency in Evansville, Indiana has an opening for a full-time attorney to handle felony cases filed in Circuit and Superior courts. Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Indiana. Prior legal experience is preferred but not required.
